Courtney Love has claimed that Prince Andrew once tried to seduce her after it was alleged that they were introduced through paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
According to The Sun, the widow of Nirvana rocker, Kurt Cobain said the Duke of York turned up to her house at 1 am “looking for sex,” after being introduced to the late financier.
Though they did not sleep together, the 55-year-old told her close friends that Prince Andrew was “very flirtatious.”
“I was in bed when the doorbell rang at 1 am, so put on my fluffy slippers and a dressing gown, and the Queen’s second son was standing there with a protection officer, totally unannounced,” she told a friend, according to the publication.
“He said he had got my address from a mutual friend and was looking to have a fun night in Hollywood, and apparently I could show him a good time.
“He seemed to be looking for sex and was quite flirtatious.
“I offered to make him a cup of tea and thought it would be amusing to serve him it out of a vintage china cup with the Queen’s face on it. We found it funny.
“We sat down on the sofa, by the fire, and that is when he got quite flirtatious.
“He asked me what I did all day, which I found quite offensive, so I quipped back, ‘And what do you do all day, Prince?’ He seemed amused.
“In the end, he only stayed for around 45 minutes.
“Of all the things that have happened in my life, this truly is one of the most surreal things — and that is saying something.”
A photograph proving the night had occurred was published in her memoirs, Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love.
WATCH: ‘Sex slave’ Virginia Roberts claims Prince Andrew ‘knows what he’s done’
According to new.com.au, in a 2006 TV interview to promote her book, Courtney claimed to have met Prince Andrew at Hay-On-Wye, when she was in the Welsh border town and said the royal came “looking for chicks.”
A spokesman for the father-of-two admitted that he had visited Courtney Love’s house but claimed that the suggestion he went there looking for girls was “absolute nonsense.”
Courtney Love was one of the names listed in disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious black book – a list of the late billionaire’s contacts and close associates which was unearthed in 2012.
President Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Alec Baldwin and Ralph Fiennes were named in the convicted paedophile’s network of contacts.

In July, Epstein was arrested for sex trafficking charges in Florida and New York.
The Duke of York was named in US court papers by Virginia Giuffre – formerly known as Virginia Roberts – who accused the tycoon of keeping her as a “sex slave.”
According to Giuffre, Epstein forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew three times when she was just 17 years old.
Andrew – who was previously married to Sarah Ferguson – has denied the allegations, and has disputed a notorious photo of himself with his arm around the then teen.
A US judge struck out Ms Giuffre’s claim against Prince Andrew in 2015, labelling it “immaterial” and “impertinent.”
The Duke of York released a statement condemning the disgraced millionaire, while Buckingham Palace said Prince Andrew would help authorities in any investigations.
