A new report claims Prince Charles banned gifts at his wedding to Camilla in order to avoid previous embarrassment with Diana.
The royal couple got hitched in 2005 in front of 800 guests. The invite said phones and cameras were prohibited. In addition, the invite also stated: “Wedding List: There will be no Wedding List.”

The Mirror’s Amber Hicks said Charles didn’t want to receive wedding presents to avoid the embarrassment of having thousands of unwanted gifts.

According to the publication, Charles and Diana received a whopping 6,000 gifts that included bizarre items including pink and blue toothbrushes.
Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell said the royal duo burned or gave away most of the items.
