Crown Princess Mary was joined by children Prince Christian, 14, Princess Isabella 12, while eight-year-old twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent stayed at home.
Australian-born Mary looked chic in a tweed outfit while watching the annual Hubertus Hunt in a woodland just north Copenhagen, which takes place at Hermitage Palace.
Prince Christian and Princess Josephine both clung to their mother as the Danish royal welcomed ten of thousands of people to the legendary 13 kilometre horse race, which signals the end of hunting season in Denmark.
The future Queen of Denmark became a patron of the Hubertus Hunt’s Honorary Prize after Mary’s father-in-law, Prince Henrik, passed away in 2018.
Mary was the picture of modern elegance, rugged up in a tailored brown jacket with gold buttons overtop a turtleneck, and matching brown pants.
