Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has proved to be one of the most fashion-forward members of the royal family.

And on Wednesday, the 47-year-old was again captured looking chic, when stepped out to attend a dinner and concert with Prince Frederik and the Queen at Fredensborg Palace.
In several photos shared to the monarch’s official Instagram account, Mary stunned in an elegant red long-sleeved gown.
The dress, which featured a high-neck buttoned collar and billowy sleeves, was also embellished with delicate sparkly gems, which added a hint of bling.
Mary showed off her incredibly youthful visage with a fresh-faced makeup palette, which consisted of a matte complexion, a hint of blush on her cheeks and a subtle pink lip.
She wore her brunette tresses in a classic chignon style, with a few loose strands, which revealed her well-defined brows and gem-stoned teardrop earrings.
The princess elevated her regal ensemble with a pair of gold pointy-toed shoes and completed her look with a red clutch.
At one point during the evening, Princess Mary affectionately placed her arm around her hubby Prince Frederik, who cosied up to her for a snap.
The prince looked every inch the distinguished gentleman in a classic blue tuxedo, which he paired with a crisp white shirt, black bowtie and a pair of black patent shoes.

Raising the fashion bar ever higher, the Princess stepped out in a fabulous navy skirt and an autumnal floral blouse, which channelled a Japanese-style cut.
She attended the event as a patron of the Christmas label fund, which supports 1,000 children between ages seven and fourteen annually through the Julemaerkefonden charity.
