The Voice Australia 2022 grand final isn’t until this Sunday, but devoted viewers are already convinced they know who will take out the singing competition.

Hailing from across the nation, over 60 hopefuls performed their hearts out in an attempt to turn at least one chair housed by the four coaches: Guy Sebastian, Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy and Keith Urban.
Those that were lucky enough to be selected then had to make it through call backs, battle rounds, and semis for a place in the grand final.
After a gruelling month of the singing competition, only four contestants remain in the running to become the 2022 champion.
While the final decision has yet to be made, Voice viewers are convinced they know who will reign supreme.
Flocking to Sportsbet, fans have placed their bets on Lachie Gill to take out the top spot, with odds of 1.75. In second and third place respectively, fans predict Thando Sikwila (2.50) and Jordan Tavita (8.00) will be take the silver and bronze.
Melbourne P.E. teacher Lachie was bound for the AFL field before his passion for music usurped his sports career.
“As soon as I could walk I had a footy in my hand. I was one step away from my dream of playing footy at the highest level, but music started to take over,” he revealed before his blind audition.
“Ultimately I had to choose. I love footy, but I love music even more.”
After captivating the audience with his emotional performance of If The World Was Ending by JP Saxe and Julia Michaels in the blind auditions, the Melbourne local managed four chair turns, ultimately choosing Rita as his coach.
Successfully making it through the call backs and battles, it was his semi final performance against fellow Team Rita contestant Xanthe Campbell that cemented his place in the grand final.
His mentor was captivated by his rendition of déjà vu by Olivia Rodrigo, ensuring to emphasise how hard Lachie works.
“He steps it up a notch every single time. You’re everything one can look for in creating a superstar,” Rita said.
Lachie was beyond grateful for the support, saying: “Every week a fire is burning. I just want to keep going and keep going. I have learnt so much but I am just having so much fun. I don’t want this to stop.”
