Former Dancing With The Stars contestant, Grant Denyer has made a statement following the axing of his 2Day FM breakfast show.
The TV favourite shared a post on Instagram thanking his co-hosts, Ed Kavalee and Ash London, for all the great memories.

“Well that was bloody fun!” Grant wrote.
“I have really enjoyed it. Tried my hardest, did my best and over-shared more than I should have. Thanks 2Day FM, thanks to the incredible humans on our team.”
The 41-year-old shared several photos and videos of himself while working on the 2Day FM breakfast show, as well as photos with Ed and Ash.
Grant also thanked his wife of nine years, Cheryl Denyer, for her support throughout his radio career.
“Thanks to my wife Chezzi for allowing me to tell stories about her, like when her boob came out on the rollercoaster. Least I won’t have to come home to ‘that look’ anymore,” he wrote added.
Yesterday, Hit Network boss Gemma Fordham announced that the Grant, Ed & Ash breakfast show would be ending after Friday.
The show will be replaced with music in the morning, but Grant, Ed and Ash are expected to remain within the network.
Grant seems to be looking at the bright side of the news, posting a video of himself dancing in the studio, with the caption, “‘Bye bye bye’ – NSYNC.”
“Thanks mostly to Ed & Ash for the many laughs and countless OMG moments,” he concluded. “Hell of a blast. I’ve learnt a lot!”
On the other hand, Kyle Sandilands from KIIS FM seems to be literally cackling with glee at the news of the show being axed.
“Hahahahahaha” he wrote on Twitter.
The radio host – who used to host the Kyle and Jackie O Show on 2day FM – also said “another one bites the dust #seeya,” barely concealing his joy at the axing of Grant, Ash and Ed’s breakfast show.
