She’s been labelled ‘difficult’ and a nightmare to work for by anonymous royal staffers.
But in a new report published by Tatler, there is another name The Duchess of Sussex is known by within Kensington palace walls.
“Me-Gain” is said to be the nickname Meghan’s staff use when referring to the 37-year-old behind her back.
While discussing the treatment of Sarah Ferguson when she was part of the royal household, the publication writes: “Meghan has seen nothing like that – even though staff at Kensington Palace are now calling her “Me-Gain”.
News of the mum-to-be’s horrible nickname comes as reports to continue to emerge about staff members quitting due to Meghan’s unrealistic demands.
In fact, a royal insider previously told The Sun: “Meghan can be difficult. She has very high standards and is used to working in a Hollywood environment. However, there’s a different degree of respect in the royal household and Kate has always been very careful about how she has acted around staff.”

Most recently, Meghan’s assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill, who also worked for Kate Middleton, handed in her resignation and will finish up once The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved into Frogmore Cottage in the coming weeks.
“Amy is leaving. It’s very sad for her colleagues, as she is a really popular member of staff,” a source told The Daily Mail.
“She has agreed to stay on to help them with the birth of the baby and organise their new household, but will then move on.”
