The 48-year-old was not only mirroring VB’s distinctive style in new photos posted to the Danish royal family’s Instagram account last week, but the incredibly youthful-looking royal also appeared to have visited the Brit’s dermatologist!

Now a celebrity cosmetic surgeon has spoken out about how he believes Mary has used the northern summer break to have a freshen up.

“It looks like she’s had a nose job, alongside some [other cosmetic enhancements],” says the Boston-based physician, Dr Dave E. David. “She may have also had a brow lift or minor face lift.”

But the aesthetic expert believes that whoever is responsible for Mary’s smooth face – they’ve done a great job.

“She does look good and I like that she’s resisted getting [injections] on her crow’s feet. It makes everything else look natural,” he says.

The Crown Princess caused fans to do a double take after posting a snap of herself at her desk, looking like Victoria’s twin sister, with a swept-up hairdo and similar monochrome clothing.

Mary is known for keeping healthy, exercising regularly and following a balanced diet which is low in refined carbohydrates and keeps her looking young.

But a long-time friend of the royal tells New Idea that while Mary does use some non-invasive cosmetic enhancers, she hasn’t been under the knife.

“Mary did get a few tweaks during lockdown but she insists it wasn’t a full face lift, just some plumping and pumping to keep her jowls and forehead lines at bay,” says the pal.
