When the multi-talented Sarah Ferguson signed on to produce The Young Victoria, it provided Princess Beatrice with the chance to try her hand at acting.
According to Express, the 2009 film saw the 31-year-old playing a lady-in-waiting to Queen Victoria (who just so happens to be named after one of the monarch’s grandchildren).
Fergie and Beatrice may have found the perfect film to get involved in, considering their close connection with the famous royal.
Queen Elizabeth II (Princess Beatrice’s grandmother) is the daughter of Queen Victoria’s great-grandson King George VI and Lady Elizabeth Bowes, making her Queen Victoria’s great-great-granddaughter.

The Young Victoria follows the early life of Queen Victoria (portrayed by Emily Blunt).
However, The Telegraph reported that Queen Elizabeth II was not entirely impressed with the film due to its historical inaccuracies.
Royal correspondent and author of At Home With the Queen, Brian Hoey reported: “We were talking about Trooping the Colour and how the Queen always notices if anything is not quite right … Apparently she is exactly the same when she is watching the television.”
While Her Majesty reportedly prefers the outdoors, she’s said to enjoy shows such as Downton Abbey and even The Crown (which is based on her own life).
In fact, according to Express, the 93-year-old gave her blessing for The Crown to be produced.
