Just hours after the christening, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took to Instagram to release two beautiful photographs taken by photographer Chris Allerton at Windsor Castle.
A family photo inside the castle’s Green Drawing Room shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sitting with their child alongside the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge.
Standing behind them are the Prince of Wales, Meghan’s mother and Thomas’ ex-wife Doria Ragland, the Duke of Cambridge and the sisters of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
Several royal fans took to Twitter to claim that the Duke of Cambridge did not look amused’ and was ‘disrespectful’ in the official snap taken in Windsor.
While others fans said Kate Middleton ‘didn’t look thrilled to be there’.
Meanwhile body language expert Judi James spoke to the Daily Mail and said William ‘looked like he was going into nightclub bouncer mode’ and Kate’s looked ‘ready to flee’.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby conducted the private ceremony while some members of the St George’s Chapel Choir, a choral group who performed at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, sung during the christening.
Keeping with royal family tradition, baby Archie wore the handmade replica of the royal christening robe, made by Angela Kelly, dressmaker to the Queen.
