Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey join forces for INCREDIBLE TV project

This is what happens when TV royalty meets British royalty. 

In exciting news, Kensington Palace has announced that Prince Harry is set to work with talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey as co-creators and executive producers on a new documentary focusing on mental health.

“I am incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series which we have been developing together for several months,” Harry explained.

“Our hope is that this series will be positive, enlightening and inclusive – sharing global stories of unparalleled human spirit fighting back from the darkest places, and the opportunity for us to understand ourselves and those around us better.”

He added: “I truly believe that good mental health – mental fitness – is key to powerful leadership, productive communities and purpose-driven self.

Oprah arrives at Harry and Meghan's wedding

Harry and Oprah are said to have known each other for many years and are good friends. The 65-year-old, who is also friends with Meghan and her mother Doria Ragland, even attended the Royal wedding last year.

Of the historic event, Oprah told O, the Oprah Magazine: “I was unprepared for the depth of emotion I felt stepping onto the grounds of Windsor Castle. It literally took my breath away.”

She continued: “I thought immediately of the history, the legacy, the astounding moment Meghan Markle was stepping into. And what it would take to be prepared for such a moment.”

“I can’t wait to see the goodness that will come from their union. Goodness that I know for sure will help change the way the world thinks about what is possible, even more than it already has.”
