A royal commentator claims that Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson and ex-husband Prince Andrew have some staggering royal demands for their daughter Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Royal reporter Tom Sykes says the Duke and Duchess of York brokered a TV deal for Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank, and they want to do the same for Bea.

Mr Sykes revealed: “After some hectoring from the Yorks, commercial channel ITV agree to run the wedding live but the BBC declined to follow suit, declaring there wasn’t sufficient public interest.”
He continued: “The Yorks were believed to be pushing for a similarly grand, semi-state affair for their older daughter Beatrice, who got engaged to her property developer boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, earlier this year.”
But the chance of it being broadcast are slim to none after the Prince Andrew scandal surrounding his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“That will now not be happening – but Beatrice, friends say, will not be too bothered,” said Skye.
A friend close to the princess added: “I can honestly say that the splendour of her wedding will be the last thing on Beatrice’s mind.
“The girls have both been not just reconciled to but have actually welcomed living more normal lives and having normal jobs for some time now, even if their parents have not.”
The news comes after speculation as to why Beatrice and Edoardo have yet to announce their wedding date.
Rumour has it the delay is due to the backlash following Prince Andrew’s disastrous BBC interview, however it may come down to royal protocol.
It is known that The Queen is always informed of proposed wedding dates and must give her blessing.
Theories for the delay include The Queen’s desire to wait until the December election is done, while another theory is that the date is already known amongst her guests.
