Last week Meghan Markle landed in New York City to host a star-studded baby shower at The Mark Hotel.

While royal fans could only guess at the level of lavishness afforded to the baby shower, a new video has emerged on social media that claims to have captured intimate details of the event.
Fan Instagram account @harry_meghan_updates, posted a video to their Instagram story claiming to be from inside the Duchess of Sussex’s baby shower.
The footage, which captures a pastel and pink coloured dessert buffet offered to guests, claims to also know the gender of the royal baby: a girl.
The dessert buffet allegedly included four macaron towers from Laduree, which cost a total of $460, stork-shaped cake pops, miniature slices of carrot cake, and multiple cupcakes iced in pink and green frosting.
The footage also shows the same iced baby-themed cookies that were shared by Meghan’s makeup artist Daniel Martin on his own Instagram earlier this week.
It is currently unknown who took the footage of the intimate celebration and shared it with the fan Instagram account.
The account’s social media post features a number of hashtags including #EarlierThisWeek, #Royal #BabyShower, but by far the most noteworthy would be the hashtag #Girl.
Whether the pastel and pink cloured treats are a reflection of gender is up for speculation, but it is certainly looking like Prince Harry and Meghan Markles bub-to-be is a baby girl!
