Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland is said to be overjoyed with baby Sussex’s much awaited arrival!
After Meghan gave birth to a healthy baby boy on May 6, the palace released a statement.
“The duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage,” the statement read.
“Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well.”
Meghan is extremely close to her mother and rumours have surfaced that the Duchess is hoping that Doria will move to the UK to help raise her little one.
A source told the publication that she “wanted her mom to move to the U.K. when her baby arrived.”
“Doria hasn’t made any commitments about doing so. She has told friends that she would keep her house in Los Angeles, but is indeed planning on spending a majority of her time with Meghan,” the source added.
