Meghan Markle’s half brother has been arrested for driving under the influence.
TMZ reports that 52-year-old Thomas Markle Jr. was stopped by authorities in Oregon at 1:33am on Friday morning and was later taken into custody for impaired driving.
The news outlet also claims that Thomas “blew well over the legal limit”.
In January 2017 Mr Markle Jr was arrested following a drunken argument with his girlfriend Darlene Blount, in which he threatened her with a gun. Despite telling officials she feared for her life, she dropped the case the following month
News of his arrest comes shortly after Thomas announced he extended an invitation to Meghan and Prince Harry to his March wedding.
