While most women who marry into the Windsor family feel pressure to adhere to longstanding royal traditions, Meghan Markle has proven time and again she is not “most” women.
The heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex is expected to give birth any day now in a very different fashion to her royal counterparts Kate Middleton and Princess Diana.
Both Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their little ones at the exclusive Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, but Meghan and Harry have already broken with royal protocol by choosing their own delivery location as well as keeping the exact birthing plan strictly under wraps.
A statement from Buckingham Palace last week revealed the Sussexes would shun the tradition of posing outside the famed Lindo in favour of a photo call inside the grounds of Windsor Castle once Meghan and Baby Sussex are up to it.
This official shoot could come at any minute, as some committed royal fans believe Meghan has already had her baby in secret.

And according to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, the British public are “delighted” that California-born Meghan is doing things her own way.
“She was under no pressure to do things the same [as Kate],” Ms Seward told People Magazine.
“It’s completely understandable – the Lindo Wing has become too much of a circus.”
