Meghan Markle is looking for a ‘Mary Poppins’ nanny

She needs someone practically perfect in every way

She’s been labelled a diva after three of her aides quit in a matter of months, and Meghan Markle isn’t exactly doing herself any favours when it comes to choosing a nanny for her and Prince Harry’s first child.

According to a report from RadarOnline, the Duchess of Sussex is said to be on the hunt for a Mary Poppins-style nanny following the resignation of her personal assistant, secretary and bodyguard

Insiders say she wants a Serena Williams-style figure to nanny her child, as celebrity nanny Connie Simpson – who was rumoured to be filling the nanny role – will only take on “consultancy” duties for the first few weeks after the baby is born in late April.

Nanny Connie said in a recent interview: “The baby is going to have no earthly idea that she’s Meghan Markle or that she’s Prince Harry’s wife and in line to the throne. they will just know her for being the one to supply that milk to her and give her that comfort.”‘

In the meantime, an increasingly isolated Meghan spends her nights locked away in the palace chatting to long-time pal Serena Williams – who gave birth to her first child last year.

“Meghan is isolating herself from the support network she could have in the royal family. She now seems to be outward looking and that cannot bode well for her long-term happiness,” a source told Radar. “She should be embracing people like Kate Middleton, not pushing her away.”
