Body language expert reveals Fergie was isolated in Eugenie’s wedding portrait

But, Prince Philip looked looked relaxed

Princess Eugenie released four official wedding portraits over the weekend.  And while we think she looks fab, a body language expert has revealed that Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson looked tense and was isolated in the pics.

“There is often little if any touch between the royals in the wedding photos but the spatial zone around Sarah here does make it look as though she has been subtly isolated to avoid any signals of closeness,” body language expert Judi James told FEMAIL.

“Her normal spontaneous exuberance seems to have been limited to a rather over-posed and rigid-looking smile and her hands have been clasped in front with one holding onto two fingers of the other in a rather formal and tense way.”

Meanwhile, Prince Philip looked happy and relaxed in the stunning family portrait despite his alleged long running feud with Fergie.

“The Queen and Prince Philip could hardly look happier. Sitting with their granddaughter behind them, the Queen has formed a very sweet-looking smile of delight while Philip uses a partial leg and arm splay to sit looking positively dashing and relaxed,” Judi added.

“If he had any problems with Sarah’s presence in the chapel or the photographs he didn’t show them in his non-verbal signals which looked charming and comfortable all the way through the wedding.”

Fergie’s isolated stance in the photo appeared to be in contrast to her behaviour at the beginning of the wedding where she found the enthusiasm to fist pump the air.

As proud as she was, her behaviour was deemed by body language experts as a little dominating and it appeared she forgot the wedding was about Eugenie not the mother of the bride!

“Fergie looked fabulous, but missed the point that this whole wedding was not about her,” body language expert Louise Mahler told New Idea.

The official wedding portraits were taken by fashion photographer Alex Bramall, who also photographed Eugenie for Harper’s Bazaar US back in 2016.

“It is an honour and a privilege to be invited to photograph Princess Eugenie and Jack on this most special of days, he said in a statement about being selected as the photographer.”

“I look forward with great excitement to capturing this significant occasion and wish them both a happy future together.”
