The Masked Singer producers must be fuming after an embarrassing new leak about the alleged identity of the Monster was just revealed on Australian radio.
Unmasked performer Paulini – who shot to fame on Australian Idol – was appearing on Newcastle’s Hit106.9, when she seemed to confirm who the remaining female contestant was – the person who wears the Monster costume.

Long rumoured to be under the mask, The Project‘s Gorgi Coghlan was seemingly outed when radio host Nick Gil apparently fooled Paulini into confirming it was her.
‘I couldn’t believe that Gorgi Coghlan could sing. Could you believe that?’ he casually asked, with Paulini seemingly responding without thinking through what had just happened.
‘I couldn’t either, I think that’s amazing!’ Paulini gushed. ‘I was actually blown away by a few of the celebs on the show.
‘You never know some of these celebs have these different talents. It’s amazing.’
The Monster was teased as being someone who enjoys horses and spends time ‘in the lab.’ Gorgi is an equestrian and former biology teacher. A variety of other clues so closely point to the Project star being behind the mask, that Paulini’s slip up might as well not matter.
The masked figure described herself as being ‘a little bit country and a little bit glam’ and added, ‘Hear my words drifting on the air… I am more than the voice behind the panel.’
Fans are still waiting to formally identify the Monster, Robot and Wolf – although all are as good as known. Most agree that Rob Mills is the Wolf, while the Robot is clearly Cody Simpson.
