We’re reached the end of Married At First Sight this year, and the drama hasn’t stopped flowing, nor has the tears, wine, and everything else in between.

From explosive walkouts to hard truths and bombshell revelations, season nine of the reality TV show has had its fair share of standout moments.
As we know, while we watch the drama play out on the big screen, there’s a whole heap that goes down behind the scenes too.

Shock Couple Swap
In late February, New Idea obtained bombshell photos of Brent, who married Tamara, and Ella, who got hitched to Mitch, as they spent Valentine’s Day together in Sydney.
On the same day, Tamara was spotted out with Mitch in Queensland, and was later seen carrying a bunch of roses. Onlookers said the pair appeared close as they enjoyed the day together.
Plus, in a video filmed by The Wash, they questioned Brent over the whole situation, where he wished “good luck” to Tamara and Mitch.
He also explained there’s nothing going on between him and Ella despite those pictures, and said they were just “good friends”.
As for Tamara, she later clarified to Hit Hobart’s Jimmy and Nath that she and Mitch live close by on the Gold Coast and even work in the same building, and insisted they’re just friends.
The Cheating Scandal
It wouldn’t be Married At First Sight without some kind of cheating scandal, and at the centre of it all this season is Carolina, who is married to Dion, and Daniel, who was paired up with Jessica.
Their time together slowly progressed from playful flirting at the Dinner Party to secret rendezvous and late-night make-out sessions.
What’s more, in photos and videos taken by The Wash in late February, Daniel and Carolina confirmed they’re still very much together after the show.
So, it seems that the pair managed to find the love they were after, despite how very controversial and unconventional it was.
The Reunion
The highly-anticipated reunion is just days away, but we already have a sneak peek as to who shows up with their spouse.
Courtesy of Sydney paparazzi photographer and TikToker Jayden Seyfarth, it looks like Olivia and Jackson stick together until the reunion.
Mitch and Ella also rock up together on the night, as do Selina and Cody, who are holding hands in the short clip.
We also see some of the others show up alone, including Brent, Tamara, Selin, Jack and intruder Dion.
Surprise Splits
After calling it quits during the final vows, the So Dramatic! podcast claimed that Ella and Mitch shock everyone by arriving at the reunion together “stronger than ever”.
“They somehow managed to patch things up after the final vows,” a source revealed. “They told everyone they’ve been talking all day, everyday since the experiment and Ella even flew to the Gold Coast to spend time with Mitch.”
The podcast also claimed that Domenica and Jack called it quits shortly after Final Vows, which they revealed at the reunion as they arrived separately.
“The reunion thing on the final couch went for ages. It is a complicated relationship,” another source revealed. “They’re not together anymore but they remain the best of friends.”
As for Selina and Cody, an insider claimed that while the pair attended the reunion Dinner Party together, Cody allegedly dumped Selina right afterwards at around 5am.
“He calls time on the relationship and doesn’t even really say why,” the source said. “No one knew about it until they got on the couch the next night.”
Tamara and Mitch
In a new teaser for the reunion, we see Brent confront Tamara as he tells the group that she had texted Mitch during the period between the last commitment ceremony and the reunion.
“Tamara, you tried to pick up Mitch when we got out of the experiment,” he yelled out across the table, with Tamara asking, “I tried to pick up Mitch?”
Ella herself confirmed this in an appearance on the Mike E & Emma radio show the morning after her final vows, saying that Tamara and Mitch had private contact while filming.
“She did reach out before final vows. She wanted to grab dinner with him and Sam [Moitzi] and another mutual friend that they had, a guy,” she revealed.
“Mitch did tell me and he told Brent, but the intentions behind it are all pretty grey to be honest.”
