Ice-cream magnate Justin Fischer, 41, didn’t have much to say when the Married At First Sight cameras were rolling… but now that the finale has aired, he’s letting loose!
Justin says that John Robertson, 54, and Melissa Walsh, 53, have split.
‘They would’ve been a good couple, but they have a two-hour drive between them,’ Justin tells New Idea exclusively.
‘And because of their age, they’re pretty set with where they live.’
The entrepreneur goes on to divulge that not everything was as it seemed on the MAFS set.
‘Carly and I had all these amazing experiences, but they edited all that stuff out,’ Justin spills.
‘And even though I was one of the few who played by the rules and didn’t go rogue after the show, they were quite brutal… they assassinated my character! They wear you down and you become like a puppet. I keep asking myself: “Why would they do that to me?’’’
Despite the criticism he copped on the show, Justin says his business hasn’t been affected.
‘Most of my clients are overseas,’ he explains.
And when it comes to co-star Ashley Irvin, 28, who he was spotted on a cosy dinner date with in Sydney, Justin remains coy.
‘We formed a good bond during the show and we’ve stayed in touch regularly since then, but I can’t say too much… Watch this space.’
