Today, Australian model and activist, Robyn Lawley, along with many other Australian women are putting their best pink pout on display in support of Pink Hope’s Bright Pink Lipstick Day 2016.
Now in its fifth year, Pink Hope’s annual trademark campaign #BrightPinkLipstickDay aims to raise awareness about the importance of knowing your family health history and encouraging others to speak out about the risk of cancer.
After a cancer scare at the young age of 19, the now 26 year old Robyn says she wants to do anything she can to shed light and raise awareness about breast and ovarian cancer.
“We need to figure out better technology for diagnosing and treating cancer and Pink Hope help patients and secures funds for more important studies”.
She continues by saying, “it’s important to know your genetics, what you’re susceptible to and to get regular check-ups with your GP”.
Pink Hope Founder and cancer survivor, Krystal Barter, says, “Knowledge is power and that’s a gift many previous generations have never had.
This campaign has trended on social media every year and garnered over 320+ million impressions. That’s a lot of pink lipstick and even more lives saved.”
Alongside Robyn Lawley, Bright Pink Lipstick Day 2016 boasts an impressive list of both local and international ambassadors including cancer survivors Delta Goodrem and Tessa James all fighting to save lives today with pink lipstick.

Be in control of your health and take action. It’s not too late to put on your boldest pink lippy and speak to your loved ones about your risk of cancer.
