Aussie actress and Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie has attended the premiere of her latest film Mary Queen of Scots wearing what can only be described as Christmas-themed makeup. And while it may sound tacky, even tasteless, it was in fact 100 per cent stunning.
Margot floated down the red carpet in a white layered gown with black polkadots. The gown had a sheer organza overlay, a daring cutaway neckline and a bold red rose of the most shimmery, shiny sequins. Impressive right?
But it was Margot’s beauty look that really stole the day – perhaps even the entire year!
The blonde actress wore a bold red lipstick that highlighted her gorgeous full mouth and complemented her eyeshadow, which was also a bold red teamed with glitter in the same hue. That’s right – girl wore GLITTER and we loved every moment of it.
Margot, a one-time Neighbours cast member, proved once again that while you can take the girl out of the Gold Coast – you can’t take the Gold Coast out of the girl. Her eyeshadow plus red glitter eyeliner made international headlines with one magazine going so far as to dub her the undoubted winner of Christmas. And we have to agree.
Yes, her co-star Saoirse Ronan, looked beautiful too. But she paled next to our Margot who quite simply lit up the event with her beauty. Okay – it is possible that was simply glitter sparkling under the photographer’s lights? No matter. Margot was a Christmas angel. Our Christmas angel. And we have only this to say – MORE PLEASE!
