Today show weather girl Natalie Cooper has announced live on-air she’s pregnant with her first child.
The 34-year-old revealed the happy news on Monday morning, sharing an ultrasound.
‘I have a long range forecast for February and it has nothing to do with the weather!’ she told Karl Stefanovic, Georgie Gardner, Tim Gilbert and Sylvia Jeffreys.
‘I’m forecasting a lot of sleepless nights for me because my husband Carl (Fox) and I are having a baby.’
Natalie admitted that she was halfway through her pregnancy, but had only just started to show.
‘Not much of a bump yet. I think because it is my first time. It’s kinda all in there somewhere, I look like I have perhaps had a few too many years off or pies,’ she laughed.
Cooper added that she was still yet to find out the sex of the baby, but joked that she would name her bub after Today show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Georgie Gardner.
‘The ultrasound lady said it (the baby) was moving around so much and jumping around. She said if it is a boy or a girl, either way it has a whole lot of character. So we are thinking Karl, Carly for a girl? Georgie George for a boy?’ she said, laughing.
Natalia and her husband Carl Fox tied the knot back in March 2016.
