The Project star Lisa Wilkinson had a good laugh on Friday night’s show after old footage of her and former co-host Karl Stefanovic was played on air.

Since leaving Channel Nine’s Today show in 2017 because of a pay dispute, the veteran journalist has moved on to join the panel of hosts on Channel Ten’s The Project.
The clip shows Karl and Lisa ferociously shaking their controllers while playing on a Wii Fit.
‘It was about halfway through that I realised what Karl was doing and I tried to look less like what he was doing,’ quipped Lisa.
‘That was the exact moment I decided, “I think I want to go to Channel 10,”‘ she joked.
Staying true to form, Lisa’s Project co-host Pete Helliar continued to poke fun at the situation.
‘I’ve seen things I’ve seen in the back of an Uber on the Today show, but that was pretty full on.’
Friday night’s two-hour special celebrated a decade of the hit show.
The clip comes after Lisa took a vicious swipe at Karl in a recent interview by saying The Project desk is “full”.
“I think we’re full at the inn at the moment,” she told the publication.
“He might have to take a number.”
Since leaving the Today show last year after a rumoured sacking when his personal life began to affect ratings, Karl, 44, has worked out his contract with the Nine Network, and the new season of This Time Next Year is due to air soon.
