Well, this was a serious piece of false advertising!
While Bachelor Matt Agnew gave himself the impressive job title of ‘astrophysicist’, it turns out Matt’s day job is far less fancy.

Channel Ten’s The Bachelor isn’t known for bagging ‘brainy’ guys, which is why when 31-year-old Matt Agnew hit our TV screens we were suitably impressed.
However according to a new article by The Sydney Morning Herald, matt hasn’t been working as an astrophysicist, instead, his day job is a paper pusher at National Australia Bank (NAB).
That’s far less exciting.
According to the publication, Matt has been working as an analyst for the bank, however, he has kept his job at NAB mysteriously absent from his LinkedIn profile.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Matt’s actual job is as as a data analysts for an international company called Quantum.
Doesn’t quite have the same ring as astrophysicist, does it?
Once again reality tv has tricked us all!
