Reality TV star turned DJ Paris Hilton has been left humiliated, after her planned trip Down Under was halted when her passport was denied.
Airport officials reportedly refused the hotel heiress entry into Australia because her travel documents were deemed ‘invalid’, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Scheduled to appear in Sydney at the Star Casino’s Marquee nightclub on 19 November, it remains to be seen whether the star will make it to Australian shores in time.
The drama comes as she attempted to drive anticipation about her forthcoming tour by posting a throwback photo with her and Australian friend, Cheyenne Tozzi.
Amid the passport drama and mounting speculation of a tour disaster, she spammed her 6.3 million Instagram followers with photos from past visits to Australia where she posed so happily with native fauna.
“I Love #Australia ❤️ Can’t wait to cuddle a #Koala 🤗🐨,” said one post.
“#Kisses in #Australia 😘,” said another photo of Hilton kissing a kangaroo.
Paris’ people insist everything will be OK, reportedly actioning plans to ensure a swift trip to Australia for her scheduled performances.
