While it’s common practice for celebrity couples to have a ‘bandaid baby’ in a bid to save their marriage, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have decided to take a different route.
After years of weathering divorce rumours, the couple have decided the best way to get their relationship back on track is to vow there will be no more babies!
‘Nicole and Joel have decided to stop having kids because they realised that they wanted to focus their attention on fixing their marriage and raising their two children the best that they can,’ a source tells RadarOnline.
Already parents to Sparrow, eight, and Harlow, six, the couple have been rocked by reports of Joel cheating amid long stints apart while the rocker filmed The Voice in Australia.
But now, after some serious soul searching and counselling, the couple are keen to reignite their love.
‘Nicole and Joel are now going to marriage counselling and it has made things so much better for them,’ says the source.
‘Neither one of them want to divorce because they realised that they are still very much in love. They could not imagine life without each other.’
