Nadia Bartel has broken her silence over her humiliating split with AFL star husband Jimmy Bartel – during a tense exchange with an Instagram troll.
Under attack by haters since the announcement of the couple’s split, Nadia was spurred to action when one troll wrote, ‘if [she] has a breakdown over one comment, maybe get off Insta and spend more time in the real world. Getting a real job might help also #notsorry.’
Clearly having enough of the Nadia responded, ‘Try writing from a real account. Don’t hide. I have numerous real jobs.’
The troll attacks mounted over the weekend, amid reports that Jimmy may already be with another woman.The Herald Sun reports he is dating Melbourne socialite Lauren Mand.
According to sources, Nadia is ‘indignant’ about the relationship, since the couple only split in July.
‘They’re not talking,’ a friend said last week. ‘It’s definitely over. [Nadia] is completely blindsided.’
The AFL star told 3AW’s pre-game coverage that the situation is ‘not great’.
‘I am probably not going to provide any commentary on it.’
‘I know I am in the public eye and people are interested, but it is a private matter and I ask for a bit of respect because obviously Nadia and the boys [are] involved.’
