She might have confirmed her engagement to Australian movie star Liam Hemsworth by admitting that she wasn’t a fan of the ring he gave her, but that doesn’t mean the Hollywood couple’s relationship is anything but strong.
Miley Cyrus, 23, and her 26-year-old fiancee, Hemsworth stepped out in LA at the weekend in support of photographer and the couple’s friend Vijat Mohindra, who was holding his first solo exhibition entitled ‘Always believe something wonderful is about to happen’.
The appearance is the first time the pair have been spotted so publicly since Cyrus appeared on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show last week, confirming the engagement and joking about the ring itself.
The Wrecking Ball singer, joked that most of her jewellery is made of Gummy Bears and fairy floss, so it’s ‘weird’ to have a piece of real jewellery but she wears it anyway because Liam loves her.
The singer-actor couple stole the spotlight at the Museum at Retail Space Gallery as they paired so nicely with the vibrant and eccentric work of Mohindra, who’s known for his celebrity work and unique take on creativity.
The pair, who began dating in in 2009 have maintained an on again-off again relationship for years until rumours starling circling again that it was back on for the couple.
