Miley Cyrus isn’t one to shy away from speaking her mind and letting the world know what she thinks.

But on Monday, it was revealed the 26-year-old pop star will remain silent – at least for the time being – as she recovers from vocal cord surgery.
According to US magazine, Miley underwent surgery after being hospitalised recently for a bad case of tonsillitis, and doctors have recommended she not talk while her she recovers.
The former Hannah Montana has already been discharged from hospital, and it’s understood her new flame Cody Simpson has taken on the role of caregiver.
The 22-year-old Australian singer took to his Instagram Stories on Friday to reveal Miley was doing fine – despite not being able to talk, along with the word: “Success”.
While the date of Miley’s reported surgery hasn’t been confirmed, it’s believed it occurred sometime last week, as the songstress posted a video of herself dancing on November 4.
In the video, the 26-year-old dances to Roy Orbison’s Blue Bayou, and she can be heard letting out a tiny squeal as Cody dipped her.
Miley’s recent vocal timeout comes after she publicly hit out at her ex Liam Hemsworth.
“There are good people out there that just happen to have d**ks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live,” Miley wrote, referring to Cody.
“There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up,” she reiterated as she live streamed a conversation with Cody.
“You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d**ks out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d**k that’s not a d**k, you know.”
Miley penned the scathing post after it was revealed Liam had moved on with Dynasty actress Maddison Brown.
