The girls of Married At First Sight have been open about their cosmetic enhancements, but Queensland electrician Mike Gunner proved body modification is not confined to the ladies by coming clean about a procedure of his own.
Earlier this month the 43-year-old confirmed he had undergone hairline scalp tattooing during a chat with Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa, and photos have now emerged showing Mike’s before and after results.
Gold Coast based clinic Hairline Solutions is responsible for Mike’s dramatic transformation which he seems thrilled with, even remarking to Fitzy & Wippa: “How good do I look?!”
The procedure – known as scalp micropigmentation – involves the replacement of hair follicles through tiny impressions of specialised needles and pigments.
According to the company website, more than 50,000 impressions are needed for full scalp coverage.
On Sunday night’s episode of MAFS Mike’s relationship with TV wife Heidi Latcham broke down irreparably, with Heidi lamenting how her husband “has to be right all the time”.
While experts convince them to carry on in the social experiment for another week, Woman’s Day since reported that Mike and Heidi have split.
He is said to be dating Casey Stewart, the 26-year-old daughter of Gina Stewart better known as the World’s Hottest Grandma.
