As Married At First Sight fans freak out over this morning’s news that Bryce and Melissa are engaged and preparing to welcome twins (yes, twins!) rumours of the opposite nature are circling a different MAFS couple: Patrick and Belinda.

Fans of the couple have had growing concerns the MAFS 2021 stars had called it quits thanks to a noticeable absence from one another’s social media pages.
It’s been just over a month since the couple last appeared together on Patrick’s, 27, Instagram walking through a park together with Pat captioning: “I guess reality TV can work”.
Meanwhile Belinda, 29, hasn’t featured her partner since late May. However, there was one more glaring clue…

The most telling sign the couple had split is in Patrick’s follower count as the reality star unfollowed everyone on Instagram including Belinda.
The personal trainer recently revealed he and Belinda had been separated due to COVID, which, in these times, is a sound and probably cause for the lack of loved-up posts.
“Bel is currently in quarantine, so I can’t see her for a while. But here’s a short cute video of our time on MAFS,” he wrote, alongside a compilation clip.

UPDATE: The couple confirmed the split just hours ago, after rumours began making headlines.
Sharing the news via Instagram, both Belinda and Patrick uploaded the same message to their Instagram Stories, confirming that they have broken up.
“We would like to address the current rumours of our split and can confirm we have gone our separate ways,” they both shared.
“We have enjoyed a relationship together for over 9 months however we do not want the same things in love and life.”

Patrick recently underwent a transformation that’s become almost synonymous with a reality TV stint: He got a shiny new set of porcelain veneers.
He unveiled his new smile via Instagram along with an update on what life has been like after the show.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you!” the personal trainer began.
“Putting yourself onto a show like MAFS, you open the floodgates to people’s opinions about you from all over Australia and can experience first hand what trolling can do.”
