Karl Stefanovic and his estranged wife Cassandra Thorburn have sold their family home for a stunning $3.8 million, six weeks after the couple announced their split.
The news for the couple comes just as Karl’s brother Peter Stefanovic and fiancee Sylvia Jeffreys locked down the first purchase of their soon-to-be family home together in Sydney’s affluent Double Bay for $2.7 million.

Leading Australian real estate website, Domain, listed the couple’s property in Lindfield, which easily attracted a buyer.
Karl and Cassandra bought the family home in 2010 and split amicably recently with rumours as to the reason why circling that she is looking to return to TV journalism with Karl’s rival morning programme, Sunrise.

The quick sale of the home marks the end to the couple’s long 21-year marriage and solid family unit with three children Jackson (16), Ava (11) and River (10).
Meanwhile, the couple’s $8 million home in Cremorne that is currently under construction is rumoured to be left to Cassandra in the divorce.
