As the reality of his marriage split starts to dawn on him, Karl Stefanovic has been forced to re-evaluate his new bachelor lifestyle.
Ordered by his employer to take some time off, Nine news director Darren Wick has revealed the network star will be stood down from all duties for at least a month as his marriage breakdown from Cassandra Thorburn starts to take its toll.
It comes on the back of rumours that Karl is finding life away from Cassandra ‘painful’ and has spent the past week making more calls than ever to her from New York where he was working for Today.
