On Friday Kanye performed his new album Jesus Is King to an audience at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at an outdoor church service.

However the event went so off the rails, people are now comparing the concert to the infamous Fyre Festival.

The main issue for Kanye’s fans at the Louisiana concert was that although admission to the concert was free, attendees had the option of paying extra and getting food before the performance.

But it was far from worth it, according to fans.

Organisers offered a $55 brunch, calling it a ‘Brunchella’ plate in a nod to the star’s Coachella performance earlier this year.

However, some of those who did opt for the Brunchella experience were so outraged at the quality and quantity of the food offered they asked for their money back.

Other fans complained that the VIP section of the concert was just a hill with a flimsy “VIP” sign on it that apparently wasn’t even close to the stage.

One concert-goer complained on Twitter, “Like they really had us hanging out on a hill away from the stage, promised we’d be ushered in later, only to hit us with ‘nope’…They just need to process refunds quickly.”
