Speaking on Nova 96.9 to Fitzy and Wippa, the former Australian Idol winner opened up about how a fight with long term boyfriend Themeli Magripilis gave her the idea for her latest single.
“It does stem from my relationship, and unfortunately it was a disagreement between me and my partner, Them.
“Which is great, I mean, a song came out of it,” she joked
Despite reassuring the radio hosts that the couple are better than ever, the songstress did admit that it was a ‘pretty s****y’ time: “This disagreement started on a Saturday night and then it trailed all the way through to Sunday. It was pretty s****y.”
Just last year the lovebirds sparked engagement rumours after Jess was spotted wearing a ginormous diamond on her wedding finger during Eurovision.
When asked by Fitzy and Wippa if Them had proposed Jess revealed that the couple are not engaged, but after speaking with WHO last year she did say that marriage was on the cards: “All I know is that the love is great. The connection is great.
“We’re so in tune that I know that we’ll be married one day. I know that we’ll have kids one day.”
