And now, the 47-year-old Hollywood highlight has spoken more about the shame she’s been made to feel for wrapping-up her marriage with her fellow movie star, Pitt, back in 2005.

Amid accusations Pitt had fallen for his only recently ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 41, the two split and Aniston has been made to feel the shame ever since.

“I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human,” she told Marie Claire

Even as Pitt and Jolie announced the heartbreak that was their divorce and the splitting of the life they had built together, Aniston was dragged back into the conversation by fans who imagined her delight at the saga.

Meanwhile as Pitt worked on his new life and raising six children, Aniston channeled her energies into her career, producing movies, ‘Horrible Bosses’, ‘We’re THe Millers’, ‘Marley & Me’, and ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, even winning the award for ‘Best On Screen Dirt Bag’ at the 2012 MTV Music Awards for her role on ‘Horrible Bosses’.

Aniston has had enough with being aligned to Pitt and the paternal life he had built for himself and in-turn being compared as a childless actor to him. She penned a op-ed piece for the Huffington Post called ‘For The Record’ that addressed a great deal of conversation around her and her purported “childlessness”.

“The accusation that I’ve put my career before the want, the desire to be a mother. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is,” she said.

“There’s all sorts of reasons why children aren’t in people’s lives, and no one has the right to assume. It’s quite rude, insulting, and ignorant.”

“You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean that you aren’t mothering – dogs, friends, friends’ children.”

Aniston is currently married to Justin Theroux an actor most recently starring in ‘Girl On The Train’. The couple recently shared their 1-year wedding anniversary and is a great support to her.

She has lived through a lot of bulls**t. Many people would have crumbled under some of the stresses that have been put on her. I’m very proud of her for that, for the way she handles herself,” he said.
