On Friday October 26, radio host Jackie O announced her split from husband Paul Henderson after 18 years.
The news came as a shock to many, yet body language expert Louise Mahler tells New Idea that the couple’s final Instagram image, shows the writing on the wall with their interaction.
“Her arm is just ‘plopped’ on him. There is no touch in the fingers and maybe even a fist. This means, she is not embracing him, but just putting the arm there for the photo. We actually put our palms onto people we care for,” Louise said of Jackie.
As for Jackie’s husband Paul, he appears to have his attention elsewhere.
“His eyes look hard – one eye is more open than the other showing focus or fright to his right. He is being embraced by his wife and hugging his daughter, but his thoughts and focus are elsewhere,” adds Louise.
Jackie spoke out publicly about her split from husband Lee Henderson after almost two decades together.
“Obviously Lee and I have decided to separate, which you know already Kyle,” she said on air during the KIIS FM radio segment Kyle and Jackie O.
“It’s not a decision we took lightly. I think Lee and I have been so lucky that our separation has been extremely amicable.”
Jackie went onto explain that she has remained ‘really good friends’ with Lee throughout their split, talking on the phone everyday and hanging out as a family.
Although the announcement of their split came as a shock to fans, it is something that has been a long time coming.
“It’s not something that happened overnight for us,” she said. “It’s been a long time. We’ve been separated for a long time. We’re just lucky that we were able to do it in private.”
