News has just emerged of Heidi Klum’s ex-boyfriend Vito Schnabel’s arrest at Burning Man Festival on September 3.
The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed the news to TMZ that Schanbel was allegedly taken in on felony charges of “distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance.”
According to the website, 31-year-old Schnabel was allegedly in the possession of psilocybin – also known as psychedelic mushrooms – at the popular Nevada festival.
The art dealer plead not guilty to the charges but could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
Vito and Heidi, 44 attended the popular evernt together last year, however the couple recently broke up after three years of dating.
“I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect,” the German supermodel told People of their split.
Although he has not publicly commented on their breakup aside from the social media posts, a source told Us that the couple hit a “rough patch” earlier this month and that, “There has been trouble in paradise for a little while.”
