While news of his divorce came as a shock to Brad Pitt, sources say his wife Angelina Jolie had been planning it for months.
Since filing for divorce on September 19, Jolie’s inner circle has allegedly been ‘running a smear campaign’ against Brad to ensure she gets full custody of their six children, something US Weekly confirms Jolie has ‘long plotted’.
The plane incident allowed Jolie to get the upper hand on her plans.
‘Angie says she is going to destroy him,’ a friend of Jolie’s said. ‘If something is broken, she just throws it away.’
‘Angelina filed the papers a minute before the courts closed. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything,’ says a Pitt source. ‘He has been crying constantly.’
