Summer Bay favourite Dan Ewing has made a big announcement that will put a smile on a legion of fans’ faces.
The gorgeous actor is set to return to our screens, reprising his role as Heath Braxton on Home And Away in a special guest storyline alongside co-star Lisa Gormley.
It’s been in the works for a while,’ reveals Dan, who last year starred in Home And Away’s Presto special An Eye For An Eye.
‘They came to me with a storyline idea and Lisa and I discussed it, and it was a great, fun opportunity.’ The storyline unfolds when Bianca – played by Lisa – makes a surprise return to Summer Bay to see her family.
Despite Dan’s excitement at appearing on Home And Away for the guest role, he says it’s come at a frantic time in his career.
‘It’s a little crazy, because I’m actually shooting a feature film at the same time, so it’s going to be a lot of exhausting hours but it’s going to be worth it,’ he explains.
I can’t say too much about the film, but it’s with an extremely good Australian actress that I’m really excited to work with. She’s Home And Away alumni and she’s phenomenal.
But while Dan’s acting career is soaring to new heights, his personal life has been under strain.
He recently revealed he had split from wife Marni – mum to their 20-month- old son Archer – after three years of marriage.
