Last night’s episode of The Bachelor confirmed the rumors that Olena Khamula is not the one for Richie Strahan.
‘I’ve certainly seen some incredible glimpses of what an amazing relationship and future would look like with you, but, you know, at this stage, glimpses just aren’t enough, and I really need to follow my heart,’ Richie said.
‘I really do hope that one day you find a guy that truly makes you happy ’cause you deserve the most.’
Olena said her goodbye’s to Richie adding, ‘I really hope one of those two girls is someone that you’re going to be loving for the rest of your life. … Thank you.’
Richie later revealed to viewers the decision to send Olena home was easy. ‘Saying goodbye to Olena wasn’t that difficult,’ he admitted.
‘I want to be with a woman that’s going to love me for me and someone that’s going to see challenges ahead and want to work and overcome them together. I came on this wild ride to find love…’
Despite Richie’s reasons, Olena revealed that she didn’t actually want to make it to the final two.
‘I knew that Nikki (Gogan) and Alex (Nation) had a lot of love for Richie and that they had said, “I love you,”‘ she explained according to news.com.au.
‘I couldn’t say “I love you” because I didn’t have those feelings for him and I wasn’t going to lie just to win it … I knew where it was going.’
The make-up artist has since confirmed to the Herald Sun she is already in a new relationship.
‘It’s been great, it’s been fantastic… Oh my God, I’m talking too much right now, he’s going to kill me!
‘It could be going somewhere, yes. He’s a very nice guy and he is so different compared to Richie. Very very different. That’s all I’m saying!’
Despite pictures emerging of Olena frolicking on the beach Nick Lindahl, she denies dating the tennis star.
