Tensions arose during the compatibility game was it as bad as it seemed?

Yeah, everyone was really annoyed. [laughs] It was pretty funny.

Did Matty catch on to it as well?

Oh yeah, he sees everything anyway, like on the group dates. He can see everything. I think everyone wants that time so they’re just trying to put themselves out there and fight for it, really. It’s no different to any other game that we play.

Elora has said that Laura isn’t as lovely as everyone thinks. Do you think that that’s true?

Laura’s amazing. No, she was like a big sister to me. She always made sure I was okay. Yeah, she’s very very genuine. She’s such a nice human being. I just adore her.

Do you know who might win?

Oh, I have no idea who is going to win. I think they’re all amazing.

Are you dating anyone at the moment?

No, it’s just me. I have a cat!

[laughs] Leave the Bachy-Mansion and adopt a cat. It’s unconditional love – you can’t even leave me now, I have to feed you.

What were your highlights on the show.

I definitely think my entrance was a highlight. Cause we just had so much fun. It’s all new, you don’t know what’s happening.

And I really enjoyed the fancy dressed like group date. That was so much fun.

Everyone looks really good on the show. Do you all have a make-up artist etc.?

All the girls are incredibly good with make-up. Like Liz, Liz’s make-up was like flawless. She’d go into hair and make-up and they’d be like, ‘Oh you’ve already been done’, and she’d be like no. Like she was amazing. Like some of the girls are really good at putting their make-up on, but yeah, we only ever had our make-up done for cocktail parties.

Do you have any regrets on the show?

No, not at all. All I can do is be the best version of myself, and that’s what I did, I just went in there and had a crack.

That last scene in the car was really sad.

No, it was nice. I thought it was really sweet. It was a really nice way to let someone go.

Do you think, at the time when you and Matty had that chat, what were you feeling at that moment?

I think I was just really shocked and overwhelmed, because we had such a good day, so I was like oh this is great. Maybe we are starting to pick up where we left off, sort of thing because we hadn’t had much time together. And we did have a really good friendship, you know, every time we did have time together we had a great time. But it wasn’t – it was more of a friendship than a relationship. So, when he started to say everything it kind of had – I kind of had realised, but I had also realised on the date because he was quite distant, and it was quite different. A unique date to go on if you want to get to know somebody, you don’t take them somewhere where you can’t have a chat. All I had to do was concentrate about not falling.

And you’re scared of heights?

Yeah, I am, but I’ll do anything.

Did you watch it last night?

Yeah. I haven’t watched it back but I watched it last night with Tara. Yeah, it was really good, it’s nice. It’s fine. It really wasn’t that bad.

Are you still friends with Tara?

Yeah, I’m friends with everyone.

You didn’t get to say goodbye. Seeing the girl’s reactions, what did you think?

I was really lucky, one of the runners had actually given me a letter when she came back to the hotel and it was a letter from all the girls. And it was, it’s probably one of the most beautiful, heartfelt gifts I could’ve taken home with me, because I didn’t get to say goodbye.

And I had also written them a letter, for the runner to take home to them as well. I wanted them to know I was okay. Because the girls were trying to help me get out of the friend zone, Elise was trying to teach me how to flirt, cause I was so nervous. I couldn’t have a conversation with the dude, I was so nervous all the time. And the girls were like, ‘Alright, it’s going to be okay, just do this.’ And they got me dressed, ready for my date, and I left. And they were all just amazing. We’re just such good friends, so lucky.

If you saw Matty again you’d be fine?

Yeah. Oh my God, yeah.

So, you’d hang out with him and the winner, no hard feelings?

Yeah of course.

You really don’t think you know who wins?

Nah. I’ve been telling everyone Flo (Florence) today. It kind of depends on mood, but I kind of think it starts off with Flo, then I say Laura, then I say Tara, then I say Elise.

Is there anything that took place that you wish they would have shown?

No, because it’s further from the journey. I would never want to take away someone else’s moment to highlight my own. I feel like they chose the storyline because this is why we’re here. We’re here to watch Matty fall in love and we’re here to watch the girls fall in love so I would never want to take that away from them.
