Melissa Field

Melissa has more than two decades of experience as an entertainment journalist and editor. After relocating from Melbourne to London and commencing her career in the UK, she contributed to titles including Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, the Daily Mail and the Mirror. After returning home to Australia, Melissa freelanced for titles including Marie Claire (Aus), the Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, New Idea, Women’s Health, The Sunday Telegraph and TV Week. Six years ago, she joined Are Media full time as Associate Editor on OK! and NW magazines, before moving across to WHO magazine as Associate Editor and Editor. Currently, Melissa is the Associate Editor on New Idea magazine. Her TV guilty pleasure is Love Island UK and her specialist subject at pub trivia is Britpop hits of the ‘90s.
