Prince William is unlikely to be the godfather to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s newborn son, Archie Harrison.
Hello reports that William already has a huge part in Archie’s life as his uncle, so it makes sense for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to ask their friends or more distant family members to take on the role.
When Wills and Kate has their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, they asked close friends to do the honours.
It is believed little Archie will be baptised in July before the royals break for summer. His godparents will be announced by Kensington Palace shortly before the church ceremony.
The publications reports that the royal bub will be christened at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, the same place where his mum and dad married in May 2018.
