Clarence House have released stunning new portraits of Prince Charles and Camilla to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his investiture as the Prince of Wales.

His Royal Highness became The Prince of Wales at the tender age of nine but was formally invested when he was 20.
The two celebratory portraits were taken at the royal pairs Welsh residence Llwynywormwood on July 2.
One shows Charles in the dining room of their Wales home, with a hand-carved set of the Prince of Wales’s feathers mounted on the wall in the background.
A second snap was released shows Charles and Camilla standing outside the door of their luxurious abode.
It was taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson during the couple’s week-long visit to Wales, where they have been visiting charities, businesses, cities and individuals.
