Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank looked loved up and cosy as they shopped together at a supermarket in London’s Notting Hill, often holding each other tight as they moved through a crowd of oblivious shoppers. The casual scene was a far cry to earlier in the week, when Eugenie joined the rest of the royal family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace – WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW.
With the relaxed princess dressed in a loose, comfortable top, the couple – who have recently been the subject of mounting baby speculation – didn’t appear to have a care in the world.
The scene came after an emotional and memorable week for Princess Eugenie, who publicly shared her love for her ‘grandpa’, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, following his 98th birthday. She also appeared with Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family during Trooping the Colour festivities.
Expressing her pride over her grandfather’s landmark birthday, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, the Duke and Duchess of York, posted a beautiful and very personal family message, and a series of photos of herself as a young child with the Duke, much to the delight of royal fans.
‘I found a couple of classic photographs of Grandpa and I on Christmas Day and Trooping the Colour a few years ago now,’ Eugenie announced as she wished her grandfather a happy birthday.
One picture shows Eugenie holding her face as the Duke pats her on the head, while another shows Eugenie and sister Princess Beatrice as children on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Duke and the rest of the royal family, as they celebrated that very British tradition, Trooping the Colour.
The princess’ fans praised her for sharing the flashback photos, with one gushing, ‘Make sure you hug your grandpa really hard today. You are lucky to still have him!”’
Another added: ‘What gorgeous photos!’.
Eugenie has spoken fondly of her grandfather and the Queen in the past, saying, ‘I think he is her rock, really, and she is his.’
The warm family moment comes amid mounting talk that Eugenie is set to add to the royal family, with bookmakers slashing the odds the princess confirming she is expecting a royal baby.
The odds are now at 1:4 with bookies expecting an announcement any day now.
‘It looks like the royals are getting broody,’ Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told The Sun.
‘With Meghan’s first on the way and Kate’s odds of baby number four continuing to tumble, we’ve once again cut odds on Eugenie announcing a pregnancy.’
Baby fever is running high among royal watchers of late, with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently welcoming Archie to the fold, and Kate Middleton still the subject of ongoing buzz that there might be a fourth baby coming in the future, following the footsteps of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
