Princess Beatrice and her beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi spent the New Year together on an island off Kenya.
It is the same island where the property tycoon reportedly proposed to the mother of his child before ‘abandoning her’.
The photos show the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson hugging and chatting away with her boyfriends mother.
The pair have kept their romance under wraps after rumours that the 34-year-old allegedly dumped partner Dara Huang for Beatrice.
RadarOnline reports a palace source as saying that the princess would “never allow herself to break into another couple’s happiness, especially if there was a small child involved”.
Meanwhile Edoardo’s ex Dara broke her silence on New Years message and is said to be hurt that she learnt about their new romance via the media.
“Thank you for the love and support I got from everyone . . . for my strength and blessings. Love, laugh, share, forgive.”
