There has been a dirty cloud of speculation surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ever since they announced their plans to abandon tradition and spend Christmas in America, instead of with the Royal Family.

A royal correspondent recently told the Daily Express that senior members the Royal Family didn’t agree with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to wage a public war against the British media.
Richard Palmer claims that the bold decision engage in a ‘privacy war’ led to the couple feeling iced out by the Royal Family, as Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were particularly vocal about their disapproval.
“There has been no support from within the Royal Family, as far as I can tell, for Harry and Meghan’s confrontational approach to the media,” Mr Palmer told the Daily Express.
“They are out on a limb on that.”
While royal watchers have merely speculated at the reason behind the Sussex’s abandonment to be the lack of support, a new palace insider has claimed that the real reason behind the scandalous break from tradition is the ever growing rift between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William.
The source dished to Us Weekly that Christmas Day will just be Meghan, Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, Prince Harry and their son, Archie Harrison.
“Harry and Meghan are having a small Christmas with just immediate family instead of spending it at Sandringham. The rift between William and Harry is one of the main reasons behind their decision.
“As it’s Archie’s first Christmas, they want it to be super special. It’ll be just Doria and the three of them.”
The source added: “The drama surrounding the couple has caused a huge amount of stress. They’re making their family their number one priority right now.”
A statement released by Buckingham palace told a very differencing story, with the Public Relations team insisting there is nothing out of the ordinary afoot.
The simple statement reads: “This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family and has the support of Her Majesty the Queen.”
